Gesaffelstein’s HARD Transformation

In the spring of 2011, Gary received a Turbo records promo featuring the debut EP from an unknown French techno artist named Gesaffesltein. Upon first listen, GR knew he must book this guy for our upcoming events. Richards was drawn to Gesaffelstein’s dark sound because it was different – it had a vintage electronic sound, but still felt current and new.

Solely based on his enjoyment of Gesaffelstein’s promo, Gary booked this mysteriously dark techno artist for HARD Summer 2011, thus bringing this new artist to America for the first time.
