HARD MINI STREET PARK: HARD is pulling out all the stops for our second event, this time adding a HARD Mini Street Park, featuring stairs, rails and a euro gap. Outside, Terry Kennedy and friends will be shredding it up adjacent to the HARD Outdoor stage with live performances by Philly party starters Spank Rock, Chi-town rapstress Kid Sister, Kanye West’s right hand man A-Trak and showstopping headliners N*E*R*D.

TERRY KENNEDY: A native of Long Beach, California, Terry Kennedy came from humble beginnings and picked up skateboarding at the age of 14 after noticing that close friend, pro skater Evan Hernandez, was making a living doing it at the time. Terry realized that this was a legitimate way to make it in life, rather than to sink into the drugs and violence around him. So he began a career that has achieved both unheralded competitive and media notoriety, Terry was selected to be the team captain for renowned music executive Pharrell William’s Ice Cream Skating Crew. Terry has appeared in rap superstar Snoop Dogg’s Drop It Like It’s Hot music video as well the ABC Family’s show Switched. Terry also maintains a friendship with fellow pro skater and television star Bam Margera and has appeared in multiple episodes of his show Viva La Bam.

Terry sees skating as a job, and there is rarely a day that he is not perfecting his craft. He admits that he enjoys skating, but is also appreciative of the status that he has received. Terry remains undaunted in his quest to become one of the elite skaters of sport.
