Categorizing Paparazzi is difficult. Can you call a 10-year veteran a prodigy? Maybe not, but even at the tender age of 23 you certainly can't say he's new to the industry, in fact, many had considered him a club veteran by the age of 18. Eventually, though, Paparazzi would make his biggest contribution to the genre by throwing his own events. Paparazzi's talent is well documented. His involvement with industry leaders has allowed him to perform at almost every successful club in Los Angeles including Le Disko, Moscow, Check Yo Ponytail, Cinespace, Dance, and Bang!.
However, Paparazzi's ambitions have stretched far beyond his hometown of Los Angeles. He has performed in many cities in the U.S. and Mexico, helping to spur the indie/electro movement across culture barriers. Along the way he's performed with electro superstars including Justice, MSTRKRFT, Simian Mobile Disco, and Spank Rock. As a promoter he's helped numerous artists find their place in the industry.
Always trying to stay ahead of the industry, Paparazzi has begun to add visual aspects to live shows setting himself apart from the average DJ and promoter. Paparazzi has extended his club shelf life by taking time to produce in the studio with well-established artists and upand- coming musicians. In addition his most current nightclub project “Dance” is one of the biggest weekly indie/electro nights ever hosted in Los Angeles. The event routinely draws over a thousand fans on Tuesday night at the Arena in Hollywood.
