Hey, are microlights detectable by the metal detectors security uses?

Why not try and get creative? May be by making a costume that has those microlights on to them? They are LED diodes btw.

Yuki, I'm like determined to get my gloves in, because I love love LOVE giving lightshows and am actually starting to get booked by events to preform. I read a few posts down that the reason behind the banning is to prevent contraband into the event, what if I can take my lights, take them apart and put them in a baggie so security can see there's nothing but plastic, batteries, and the bulbs? I'd be willing to go thru that hassle

      Hi TeamWhomp,
Unfortunately, that would hold up the line significantly, so we need to ask you to please leave your gloves at home.
Thank you for taking the time to check though.

I meant having them taken apart, having the light bulbs in a bag, the batteries in a bag, and the casings in a different one before even getting in line, and then putting them together after security. We're persistent :P
