Are all tickets supposed to look alike?
  • MakeMeAMemberMakeMeAMember October 2010

    I got two tickets from separate people but the prints on the tickets look completely different.

    Ticket #1:

    Hard Events

    Presents
    Hard Haunted Mansion 2010
    700 W 32nd Street
    Shrine Expo Center

    Rain or Shine: 18+
    Sat Oct 30, 2010 6:00PM

    Ticket #2:

    Hard Haunted Mansion 2010

    Hard Events
    700 W. 32nd Street, Los Angeles, CA

    SAT Oct 30, 2010 6:00PM

    Based on the pictures people posted, it looks like most people got a ticket that looks more similar to Ticket #1.

    I know going solely based on what's written on the Ticket is a horrible way to determine whether a ticket is real or not, but I just wanna know if anyone here got a ticket with a similar format as ticket #2.

    I'm kind of paranoid, so it'd be appreciated if you can help me out.

    TIA!

    if you could post some pictures I would be able to tell you.

  • SonikSonik October 2010

    apparently it says the same date, ever thought of that?

  • JoshJosh October 2010

    @Sonik

    Typo?

  • volcomnator999volcomnator999 October 2010

    put them under a black light

  • JoshJosh October 2010

    yeap, do what @volcomnator999 is telling you, you should be able to see the groove tickets logo on it.

    Never thought of that, kudos.

  • MakeMeAMemberMakeMeAMember October 2010

    I just want to know if anyone got a ticket that looked like #2.

  • JoshJosh October 2010

    @MakeMeAMember

    Do you really want to know if they are legit?

    Do what Volcomnator999 said.

    On the back it should have hidden logos. You can also see them in plain light but UV lights will definitely let you know.

  • SonikSonik October 2010

    sorry, read wrong.
    well they don't really seem bad.
    you'll get in, unless if you get them from a black market.

  • ProwlerProwler October 2010

    mine is like #2

  • MakeMeAMemberMakeMeAMember October 2010

    @Prowler

    Thank you! It's so relieving to see another person confirming the legitimacy of the ticket (well at least I don't have to worry about people calling me dumb for falling for the "obvious" printing differences).

    I'll check with the Blacklight tmrw, if I can get one.

    I never been to a rave where the tickets got sold out. HARD must be something.... Expecting to see something that surpasses Insomniac events. Can't wait :)

  • JoshJosh October 2010

    @MakeMeAMember

    HARD is totally different from any Insomniac event. It always has the sickest HARD house/electro line ups in Los Angeles not to mention the legend UNDERWORLD.
