Don't be so sure about that... Gary has posted comments about booking Daft Punk. Justice has performed at many HARD events. Then again Daft Punk hasn't officially mentioned anything about a tour. -

i used to be huge discharge fan i was in the "crust" scene for a while my parents are into it so i grew up around it haha but i guess when u get a little older u kinda grow out of the "fuck the world" stage just a lil lol -
@Holliiieee: The main reason i left the crust/grindcore scene is because of all the noobies thinking they're the shit and they know more than you when all they wear is Aus-Rotten and Nausea shirts.

I was a huge metal head in high school and part of middle school. Yeap, loads of kids wearing slipknot, System of a Down, mudvayne, pantera, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Cannibal corpse, 3 inches of blood, slayer, lamb of god... etc shirts most of the time didn't know jack shit about metal. -

@Josh Seriously dude, like i said before every scene, in some form or another, has the same problems other scenes are suffering from.
What really started to piss me off is when some guy has a Dead Kennedys, Misfits, Circle Jerks, or Rudimentary Peni shirt and when you ask them what their favorite song is they tell you they didn't even know it was a band. -

Every scene has the same group of people coming in and ruining the scene. EDM is fucked up beyond recognition now. Not to mention the quality of music dj's bring out is degrading and very generic. -

Overall I think Hard Summer would be a way better for show for Daft Punk to perform at. Think about it, at Coachella the Dance tent is not the main stage and as we saw last year, a big act like Deadmau5 - who still pulls nowhere near what DP would - will overflow the stage. On the other hand, the Hard summer venue has ample room for tens of thousands of music lovers to enjoy Daft Punk. Not to mention that Gary's venue is in downtown LA and not the desert. There was something very special about partying with the skyline in the backdrop this year for me at least.
Unless Goldenvoice is willing to give them the main stage on Fri or Saturday night, if I was Daft Punk, I would bring my new Tron-inspired stage to the Historic Park!
