okay so i got my california ID like 2 weeks ago what happens if it doesnt come in time what other proofs can i bring? can i bring that copy of the DMV papers or no? im just hoping i get it on time

The paper ID from the DMV I believe states on it "Not a valid form of identification" or something like that because paper IDs could be easily copied, or at least easier than the actual ID. Even if it has your picture I don't believe that it would be accepted if I remember correctly.

Don't take my word on it though, this is remembering a few years back!

Mine just expired weeks ago and its too late to get a new one. I'm 26 years old and my picture still looks like me. Please someone tell me if they think this will be an issue! It can't be right..?.... I would be so disappointed to be turned away at the gates

I asked Yuki a similar question, my ID expired and my new license hasn't come yet. She told me that there will be police scanning all IDs so an expired license would get turned away. Do you have a passport? I'm bringing mine if my new ID doesn't come in time.
