so im really dissapointed at the fact that VIP does not come with Open bar..pretty much the only reason people would want to go VIP. Im still going (GA) but its pretty much fail with VIP

Seriously? When have any of these events ever come with open bar service for VIP? I have heard of one free bottle of Vodka or something with certain packages but VIP is just a way for people to have their own area and a seperate entrance to avoid the lines and crowd.

On a positive note though i have had the mixed drinks and they are very good... i purchased two margaritas and it got me pretty buzzed haha. I had maybe two more and thats all that i needed the whole night.

at EDC i had more than 15 drinks on sat...that was throughout the entire day...imagine how much money i would of spent

EDC did have a hosted bar... but i am not sure the provisions because sometimes they limit you. Thats pretty cool and yea i wish that they had that everywhere but it can be expensive for that kind of service... Not every promoter can work that into the budget.

By that i mean if the difference between another live act on the lineup is wether or not to have a hosted bar... well i think its nobile for the promoter to go with the extra artist because then everyone benefits... not just VIP.

EDC started off with limited drinks...then changed it later. i was there both days from 2 to 2. started drinking as soon as i got inside. 2 drinks and 1 water everytime . i was on a real good one. but i was sober when i left.

There are a lot of stipulations in dealing with alcohol service and they vary drastically by venue and town. As much as we 21ups love an open bar, it is also a dangerous concept especially in a venue with underage patrons.

other venues have underage patrons also and their vip open bar is withing the VIP area. so no underage kids can get in. they also check ID's randomly. oh well..just wanted to ask about it
