hey whats up?! i cant wait for this festival its going to be highlight of my year! so anyways im coming from Good ol fresno. as of now i have one other buddy going with. if anyone is interested we have room for two more people in our ride and a couple open spots for a hotel room. we will b staying at the Marriott so itll b a nice spot anyways if you have questions feel free to ask me laters party people!

are you staying at the new Marriott? There are a few around. The new one is super nice! i meet friends for cocktails there all the time when we go to LA Live.

i work for Marriott so i just got the lowest rate i could but its a really nice location. the hotel is the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel. usually cost like 250+ a night i have the rate at 84 a night

Nice, I've stayed at the Renaissance LAX before. It's a great hotel, loved the lobby and the room. Naw, dude they go for like $99 a night. Who ever told you that, they lied to you bro. Tell them you demand a bigger discount! hahaha but yeah that's a pretty good hotel and it's pretty nice.

lmao the after prom party i went to after my prom was at that hotel... snuck in my turntables and everything. Very nice place!

Its pretty close to the Shrine too... just a buzz down the 105 to the 110.

nice good to know idk man like most hotels the rates hella vary i think cause its a festival weekend there jacked the rates up all over LA man it sucks it was the cheapest one i could find well under marriott. so whats this festival like. ive only been to one of these before and it was jsut resent at Audiotistic. coming from fresno we dont have a rave scene at all here everyone thats into raves is like hidden away or something lol. but is this anything like Audio or this more like EDC any feed back will help.

Yea, I'm not sure though. I stayed their HHM 09 and the rate was 99 bucks for the night. Just make sure you double check before you book man.

I feel you bro, I come from a small city also. Same thing, people are barely getting into the scene but back in 2006 - 2009 it felt like I was basically the only one here.

HARD is something different, specially HARD Haunted. Not your EDC and not your Audio.

Josh is right. Parties like EDC & Audio have an entirely different vibe. HARD is more of a concert like experience. Most parties and massives like EDC are like carnivals and they have a very loose feel (you can wear crazy stuff and prance all around if thats your thing... respectively of course)

Even though HARD is also a party itself, its buttoned tighter than something like EDC. You notice that you have more of a mature vibe. People are dressed very nicely and its more music oriented... You still get the occasional glow sticking crowd but its not like a party like EDC.

You just have to experience it for yourself haha. Go look at the photo galleries as well so you can see what you are in for.

yeah josh ill diff check the rates again its always good to pay less for sure. thanks both u two for the heads up on the concert. im really looking forward to it this will be i guess my first concert like this. i really have high hopes for this should be a blast. what other festivals have u guys been to this year

EDC.. other than the thing with the gate rushing and that poor girl was a blast. I have been to a few smaller things here and there but i am looking forward to HHM. Nocturnal seems like a bust this year :(

Besides EDC and HARD Summer + HARD Bloody Beetroots. I've been to some raves and events in Mexico. I'm going to see Above and Beyond at Fluxx SD next week and of course HHM. :)

nice ive been wanting to see Above and Beyond that will b awesome man have a great time. yeah will i agree the Nocturnal Fest looks like a bust for the Cali date although if they can get Girl Talk to play the Cali date i might have to go Girl Talk was amazing at Coachella 09. im suppose to go to the Epicenter Festival the same date as Nocturnal so prob just stick with Epicenter

I was hoping Nocturnal would be good, it looks alright, I'd like to see Noisia and Ferry Corsten one day. But Nocturnal Texas has such a sick lineup, Girl Talk is great, he played at my school last year, his sets are so much fun.

oh yeah man Girl Talk is the shit for sure i really hope he plays the cali date but it doesnt look like it. i just found out today im not going to go to Epicenter, so i guess if Nocturnal has a better line up come out i might just go to that

Yeah im trying to take a group to the concert if possible share gas and hotel room if need be but yeah i can for sure provide a ride to the concert god i cant wait for HHM i just got back from Nocturnal and man im so pumped for HHM anyways yeah travel from fresno so LA i also have two hotel rooms book at a nice hotel for cheap its like $58 a night or something nice ass marriott hotel anyways let me know if interested all i ask is u respect my ride and the hotel other then that just have fun! PLUR

oh man Nocturnal was a blast man so much more then i thought it would b. the Tents were all themed and the carnival rides lighted up nicely at night. lots of great acts. have to say my favorite DJ group there was rabbit there put on one hell of a show! came out in this crazy robot suit each step he took th bass shook the shit out the tent then boom they started and it went crazy!!!!

Argh!!!! See the last time i went was a few years ago and it was in a parking lot and i froze my ass off! Since then i havent really gone but i did see the Chemical Brothers and it was pretty awsome.

I wanted to go but i was jealous of how big it was in Texas.

lmao thats awesome yeah white is a bit much. yeah trust me i was hella jealous of the Texas Nocturnal especially because they had freaking Girl Talk i was praying he would play the cali date of be a surprise guest but no girl talk

@Minibosshog - Glad you had a blast at nocturnal this year!! i went to it last year but chose audiotistic over nocturnal this year cuz i couldn't do both. Awesome! Unfortunately i won't know if i'll be able to go until about the 18th. Like i said i know people heading down there but by time i know and with my luck they'll probably have every seat filled so once i find out for sure if i can go i will absolutely email you to see if you've still got seats available. You'll hear from me for sure though....either way. I appreciate it.

Hey man! I might have a weird schedule that night now that i am going to be gigging the after party so i might not be the most reliable ride at the moment. I might show up a bit late because i have to do some sound tests and stuff like that... My keyboarding buddy and i do a live improv techno show from time to time and were going to play together after HARD so we have to make sure everything is ready after i leave...

I would advise just getting dropped off at the venue if your going to come as far as my place because the venue isnt that far from me anyways... If anything changes ill let you know :D

will are u going to be putting on a after party ? or do you know of any after parties for halloween night. i ended up onyl getting tickets for halloween night but 2am is early party cant stop that early
