So at Hard Summer, the DJ just before Soulwax played a really funked out groovy track that involved an MC laying down a smooth flow over the beat. All I can remember is the line "You're not coming down," which was repeated several times throughout the track. It was infectious and I can't for the life of me find out where the track came from. Any help would be much appreciated.
@tad yes! Exactly! It was awesome and it's driving me crazy that I can't find it. @ROCKnRAVE ill look into Major Lazer tracks
Okay come to think of it @ROCKnRAVE I think you misunderstood me. It was between Major Lazer and Soulwax. I assume it was Destructo spinning but I wasnt paying any attention so I have no idea.
At any rate, if anyone else knows the track, please post, or I will lose my mind.
Did it kind of sound like an 80's track? Im trying to find it too.
@digitaldragon03 it kind of did. The flow reminded me of 2 short in a way. In it's smoothness. I can't say much else for it other than it rocked my world.
@tom That was it. Nice.
^^^ Yeah i'm also looking for the "Prince of Persia" track, I believe Destructo dropped it during the changeover into Crystal Castles...
^^ Sticky K was actually the one doing changeovers. and K played it during his set as well so maybe it's one of his songs.
I also need an ID on a song. It's like a dutch beat, and before it drops, the sample goes "I'M MOTHERFUCKN CRUNK" and theres a sample that goes "Bitches, bitches, bitches" throughout. I believe Breakbot played it around the end of his set? I'm not sure..
