Dance music festival is what us teenagers (who won't be going til we're 18) tell our parents instead of rave even though they know.

Do you know if all Hard events are going to be 18+ now too?

Yeah, that's way better too though alot of these kids don't even know who their going to see anyways they just go cause it's a "Rave" and everyone goes to raves. Theophilus London, N*E*R*D, Rye Rye, Cromeo, Tommy Lee, I don't think you can catigorize them in the rave scene.

Yeah but then there's the other kids such as myself who know exactly who they're going to see and don't go unless there's people they like playing. For instance, I went to Hard Summer for skream benga and caspa but now I'm just completely screwed til HHM 2011.

Is a body suit characteristic of a rave now? Or were they more worried about overheating?

No honestly the suit isn't warm at all. The breeze rolls in and goes right through it. I was getting cold during the day and towards the end of soulwax i was sitting up on the hill with my girlfriend and we had to go down into the crowd to keep warm because I was shaking and teeth chattering and whatnot.

The guy that told me was kind of a dick about it when I asked why I couldn't have the hood on buy after a while he just said that it's because if I do something wrong they wouldn't be able to see who I was. But really, who's fighting at raves and i can't really take any drugs through a mask...so yeah.

It doesn't. But the hard security staff seem to think it does.

Having your hood on has nothing to do with what happened at EDC. Its just a security precaution that a lot of places put in effect.

@EDDiE there is specific attire and accessories that are common @ raves, those full body suits, the bead bracelets and necklaces from head to toe, the furry ass boots, shit like that.

I don't make the rules man and I don't set the dress code for hard, I'm just letting you know what's up.

I had no idea full body suits were common at raves. I thought they got popular once Charlie from It's Always Sunny brought out Greenman haha.

Man I saw a guy wearing one at HHM 09' which was my first rave and I've wanted one since. Just got one for EDC and Hard Summer...too bad I'll have grown out of it by the time i can go to another.

Yeah true. I still can't believe I won't be able to go to one til Haunted Mansion in 2011. That means for loud music and semi fun lights I'll have to go to stupid house parties with a general crowd that I dislike.

There is still events other than hard where you can't catch these people, just follow up on their event schedules
