I have seen Crystal Castles a few times now and every time when I am leaving I hear people talking shit on how bad they were. So, dont get your hops up you may be one of the people who think they suck live. It just doesnt have the album quality but really most groups dont when they are live. Plus, she is usually drunk! I would say they put on a great show though!

ok, i feel like no one here except destructo is gettin crystal castles. they are raw as fuck, so don't be expecting stupid rave shit. she is awesome, and definitely not drunk she is fucking on heroin, but its so fucking awesome it doesn't matter, i've seen em three times and despite HARD its been good everytime, they are definitely worth a look especially if they're conflicting with someone like major lazer (but i still wanna see major lazer!)

crystal castles are soooo fucking raw. i'm sure tons of people think they suck live, but they just. don't. get it. plain and simple. i saw crystal castles at sasquatch in '09, which is a mostly indie and folk festival in rural washington: full of icey, northwestern hipsters that seemed to never smile or dance. 2009 was the first year that the 'Quatch had ever had a dance tent and tons of people left bitching about how their ears hurt and how it made them uncomfortable that she was "all crazy" or "weird" or "fucked up". welcome to music, kids, and welcome to HARD events: unique sets, good prices, no stupid fucking glow sticks and statutory rape.

I'm surprised no one has commented on how fucking awesome that painting is by KcNekro. Good job, man.
I've seen CC 6 times I think, and really 2010 was absolutely the best show so far. Their current drummer does all the right stuff and Ethan really gets to shape the sound dramatically on the songs from the new album. Alice has always been on another level, and just keeps getting better.

@KcNekro woah, I didn't go near this post because I was expecting some idiotic post like mine. But damn bro, you did let yourself go! Nice painting man! You got some artistic talent in you and I think you can go pretty far.
As for me, I stick with stick figures and using my imagination to create neat things. Example my HARD Haunted 2009 video, it was simple yet I really enjoyed it. Now I'm working on HHM 2010 costume. Dang LED lights don't hurry up to get here. -
